DITO Telecommunity has unveiled the world’s first 5G RedCap technology Wi-Fi designed for home use.
DITO Home WOWFi is powered by the telco’s “true 5G” Standalone network, which delivers internet speeds of up to 100Mbps.
Developed in partnership with Huawei Technologies, DITO Home WOWFi utilizes 5G RedCap, a new 5G standard built for efficiency. Unlike traditional 5G, RedCap operates exclusively on 5G Standalone (SA) networks, offering superior benefits compared to networks reliant on 4G infrastructure. This translates to high capacity, maximum quality, and significantly lower latency.
DITO Home WOWFi has a convenient plug-and-play setup, making it ideal for those seeking a hassle-free upgrade from traditional wired connections. It’s also suitable for underserved areas where wired connections are no longer feasible.
Because it’s a prepaid service, getting a DITO Home WOWFi is easy—no documents required, no monthly fees, and no lock-in period or long-term contracts.
The Starter Kit is priced at P1,990 with complimentary unlimited 5G data and 50GB 4G data for 30 days. The succeeding monthly load option is at P790 for 30 days with UNLI 5G and bonus 50GB 4G data, which only applies to 4G covered areas.
