DENZA Philippines has officially introduced the all-new B5 and B8—a pair of off-road-ready plug-in hybrid SUVs engineered to deliver electrified efficiency alongside everyday practicality and true all-terrain confidence.
The DENZA B5 is a midsize plug-in hybrid SUV built on the brand’s DMO Super Hybrid technology. It combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a dual-motor system, producing 677hp and 760Nm of torque.
Paired with a 31.8kWh BYD Blade battery and an 83-liter fuel tank, the B5 offers a combined NEDC range of up to 975 kilometers, making it suitable for both daily commutes and long-distance travel.
Built for any terrain, it features four-wheel drive and front and rear electronically controlled locking differentials for confident performance in changing conditions.
Inside, the B5 integrates comfort and technology through a large infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, head-up display, and premium features such as massage and ventilated seats.
The DENZA B8, meanwhile, brings elevated performance and luxury to the full-size SUV category. Available in Dynamic and Premium trims, it pairs a 2.0-liter engine with a dual-motor setup delivering 603hp and 760Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 kph in just 4.8 seconds.
It is equipped with a larger 36.9kWh battery and a 91.5-liter fuel tank, extending its combined NEDC range to up to 1,040 kilometers. Central to its capability is the DiSus-P Intelligent Damping Suspension, which continuously adjusts in real time based on road and driving conditions, complemented by an electronically controlled locking differential system for improved traction and stability.
Inside, the B8 leans into a more premium cabin experience, featuring a larger infotainment display with smartphone connectivity, power-adjustable seats, dual wireless chargers, a built-in refrigerator, and a surround-view camera system, along with massage and ventilated seating for added comfort.
Both models are supported by the DENZA App, allowing owners to remotely monitor vehicle status, charging levels, and location while accessing smart controls.
Built to go beyond urban environments, the B5 and B8 come equipped with multiple terrain modes—including Mud, Sand, Rock, and Water Wading—along with advanced maneuvering features such as Leopard Turn for improved agility in tight conditions.
The DENZA B5 is available in a single variant priced at P3,798,000. The B8, meanwhile, is offered in two trims: Dynamic (P4,998,000) and Premium (P5,398,000).
