Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants, delivered a banner year in 2025, marked by aggressive nationwide expansion, strategic partnerships, and sustained social initiatives.
Leading the company into this new chapter is Pongtorn “Bon” Tangmanuswong, CPI’s newest general manager and country chairman. Fresh from his role as head of Chevron Cambodia, Tangmanuswong brings 17 years of leadership experience across Chevron’s Asia-Pacific markets, positioning CPI for continued growth in a competitive energy landscape.
CPI also continued to expand its retail sites, with 18 new Caltex service stations opening in major growth areas including Laoag City in Ilocos Norte, Balaoan in La Union, Makati, Tagaytay, Puerto Princesa in Palawan, and Bacolod.

The company also launched 75 Caltex Havoline Autopro and Bikepro workshops in 2025, bringing its nationwide network to more than 500 locations. These facilities provide motorists access to 22 expert maintenance services, strengthening Caltex’s reputation for reliability and premium customer care.
CPI likewise reinforced partnerships to enhance its non-fuel offerings. It renewed lease agreements with Batangas Land Company, Inc. across key provincial sites and expanded collaborations with local coffee chain PICKUP COFFEE and convenience store giant 7-Eleven. As of January 2026, 32 PICKUP COFFEE kiosks and 123 7-Eleven stores now operate within Caltex stations nationwide.
Beyond its fuel offerings and car maintenance services, CPI sustained impactful outreach efforts. It supported the AmCham Foundation Philippines ScholaCOLORun that benefitted 109 scholars, mobilized 250 volunteers for a coastal cleanup in San Pascual, Batangas, and marked Volunteer Day with activities at Guanella Center, Inc.
