During Balenciaga’s star-studded 51st couture show in Paris, models strutted the catwalk carrying a collab piece that combines the worlds of fashion and technology.
The fashion house teamed up with Bang & Olufsen to create the limited edition Balenciaga I Bang & Olufsen Speaker Bag. Milled from a solid block of aluminum, then pearl-based, anodized, and hand-polished at B&O in Denmark, the double-duty accessory features a speaker grille in front and opens at the back to reveal a hidden compartment where you can stash your phone and keys.
Control buttons are positioned at the top of the purse. The Bluetooth speakers offers up to 18 hours of battery life and multipoint connectivity.
Balenciaga and Bang & Olufsen logos are laser-etched into the top of each piece.
Only 20 editions of the speaker bag is available for purchase at the newly opened Balenciaga Couture store in Paris.
