ASUS Republic of Gamers Philippines (ROG) has launched the mid-generation refresh of the brand’s original Ally handheld gaming device.
The new ROG Ally X is powered by a Windows 11 operating system, ensuring access to a vast library of games. Its enhanced storage and RAM capabilities allow for smoother gameplay and faster load times. Additionally, the device features a redesigned chassis that offers improved ergonomics, cooling, and connectivity.
One of its standout features is its customizable game library and unified interface, courtesy of Armoury Crate SE 1.5. This software allows users to personalize their gaming experience and easily navigate their collection.
The ROG Ally X offers a more comfortable and intuitive gaming experience with its redesigned chassis, featuring deeper handles and a more rounded shape. The buttons and sticks have been arranged at a more ergonomic angle, and the macro buttons on the back have been made smaller to prevent accidental presses.
The joysticks and D-Pad have also been upgraded for improved durability and precision. The device now features two USB-C ports, including one Thunderbolt-compatible port, for greater connectivity options.
To accommodate the new battery and enhance cooling, the ROG Ally X features new fans that are 23% smaller but utilize 50% thinner fan blades to improve airflow. The device also has additional exhaust vents to help dissipate heat, resulting in a cooler and more comfortable gaming experience.
The ROG Ally X is now available at authorized ROG Exclusive Stores nationwide for P56,995. This includes a complimentary three-month PC Game Pass subscription, the ASUS 4A Quality and Service warranty package, and the ASUS Preventive Maintenance Service.
