Apple has supercharged its iPad mini (it’s the 7th generation, for those who are counting) and has given it the A17 Pro chip, which Apple says has a 30% faster CPU, 25% faster GPU, and a 2x faster Neural Engine than the previous-generation model.
With the power of the A17 Pro chip, the new iPad mini supports Apple Intelligence, which leverages Apple silicon and Apple-built generative models to understand and create language and images, streamline workflows across apps, and offer personalized context for everyday tasks.

The iPad mini now also supports the new Apple Pencil Pro, transforming the tablet into a portable sketchbook and digital canvas. This stylus features a customizable haptic engine, providing tactile feedback for a more intuitive experience. Users can easily switch tools, line weights, and colors with a simple squeeze.
The iPad mini also supports Apple Pencil (USB-C), which is ideal for note taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more.

This latest-generation slate retains the form factor introduced with the 2021 redesign and has the same 8.3-inch 60Hz Liquid Retina display.
There’s a 12MP rear camera that uses machine learning to scan documents right in the Camera app and utilizes the new True Tone flash to remove shadows from the document.
Meanwhile, the front-facing 12MP ultrawide camera with Center Stage ensures you stay perfectly framed during video calls
The new iPad mini is available in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray, and in three capacities: 128GB (P34,990), 256GB (P41,990), and 512GB (P55,990). You’ll have to pony up an additional P10,000 if you want to get the Wi-Fi + cellular models.
